Postdoc position

Lab of Biological Engineering, Shanghai Institute for Advanced Immunochemical Studies (SIAIS), China. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

One postdoc research position is open immediately in Prof. Elvassore’s Lab of Biological Engineering at Shanghai Institute for Advanced Immunochemical Studies (SIAIS) in China (http://siais.shanghaitech.edu.cn/eng/research8.asp). SIAIS is an advanced antibody research center of ShanghaiTech University. The institute has state-of-the-art core facilities for high-throughput screening studies and analysis in biomedical research.

Elvassore’s lab main research interests are in the field of human pluripotent stem cells for the development of tissues-on-chip, and nuclear and cellular mechanotransduction in human cells. The lab develops microtechnologies to address specific biological questions and biomedical approaches, by accurately controlling soluble cell culture microenvironment and mechano-chemical stimulatory cues. We are seeking self-motivated postdoc scientists to join the lab and take part in this research.

Outstanding candidates with different backgrounds will be taken into consideration, spanning from molecular biologists with experience in human pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation, to biomedical engineers with experience in microtechnologies, to bioinformatics-skilled researchers. The positions remain open until filled.
